Standing on the shoulders of giants means we get to lift others even higher

Great women before us helped us get here, through their determination, grit, and brave compassion. This privilege is a responsibility.

For every purchase you make at My Pure Earth, $1 goes to Bumi Sehat Foundation in Indonesia to support women. And to support the communities these women carry on their shoulders.

Bumi Sehat Foundation was founded in 1995 by Robin Lim, 2011 CNN Hero of the Year and longtime advocate for women's rights in Indonesia.

The foundation operates three Community Health & Education, and Childbirth Centres; and provides support for mothers and their families through comprehensive care and education. They also provide local disaster relief support in a part of the

world that is as beautiful as it is volatile. When you purchase My Pure Earth products, you are giving $1 from each transaction to empower communities in a very real way.

In Indonesian, ‘bumi’ means Earth, and ‘sehat’ means healthy – the foundation’s mission to shape a healthy Mother Earth starts at the seed: babies at birth. In Indonesia, the maternal mortality rate is 126 per 100,000 live births, with infant mortality at 22.7 per 1,000 births in 2015. By offering a comprehensive range of allopathic and holistic medicine, as well as pre and post-natal care, breastfeeding support, infant, child and family health services, nutritional education, prenatal support, emergency care and birth services at the grassroots level, Bumi Sehat Foundation is working to support the health and development of communities. For a healthier world.

Working together towards UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Bumi Sehat Foundation is actively working to achieve each of the eight UNSDGs, by working in small villages and through their rewarding model of care.

You know this, your mom knows this, the lady next door knows this. Together, we can make a happy home – we can build a healthy Earth. Even by donating what you spend on a cup of coffee or tea each day, you are already making a difference. It’s not rocket science, but the impact is just as earth-shattering.
