Singing Bowl Sound Bath for New Mums
Helping new mums find balance in mind and body with a singing bowl sound bath. Held in partnership with with MASE Lifestyle.
This workshop has been created especially for new mums who would like to recharge and realign their energy. We will begin with 10 minutes of breathing/relaxation exercises followed by a 40 minute singing bowl sound bath. The healing sounds and vibrations from a selection of hand-hammered Tibetan singing bowls will leave you feeling recharged and rejuvenated. Specially blended essential oils will be used throughout the evening to help us mammas feel refreshed and grounded.
We will end with a casual Q&A session and tea.
As a new mum of a seven week old daughter, I am constantly struggling to tame my monkey brain and relax long enough to get a good nights sleep. My hormones are going wild, to-do lists keep growing and ‘mum guilt’ kicks in whenever I’m not spending 24/7 with my first born (the non-stop toddler). So, I was very excited to meet Mae and learn about the benefits of sound baths and how they can help you to relax and rejuvenate. When you pair a sound bath with relaxing and healing essential oils the result is heavenly! I wish all new mums would give this a try. We deserve it!
A creative at heart, Mae has always thrived on expressing herself in creative outlets such as art, music and architecture. A UK qualified architect, Mae set up her own interior design business when she relocated to Hong Kong in 2010 when she also embarked upon her spiritual journey by attending Hindu philosophy (Vedanta) classes and practicing yoga.
MASE, a fashion and lifestyle brand came to fruition in 2013 during a holiday in Bali, marking the beginning of Mae’s vision of merging various art forms to create an artistic language that can fully express her ideas and beliefs.
The first MASE fashion bag collection, inspired by Balinese culture and architecture, was launched in 2014 and highlighted Mae’s ability in using colours to help promote individual confidence and have fun with fashion.
As Mae continued to develop her skill sets, she established a new division of the MASE brand, MASE Lifestyle which provides a wellness-focused consultation and therapy service. Services offered include singing bowl therapy (sound and vibrational balancing), yoga consultation (body energy balancing), customised healing art prints (colour and crystal therapy) and Feng Shui-inspired interior design and styling (spatial energy balancing) which can enrich spatial energy and dynamic.
With the qualifications gained across Feng Shui design, singing bowl therapy, 200hr yoga teacher training coupled with her extensive experience in art, music, interior design and architecture, Mae looks to promote a blissful way of living through mind, body and space balance.
