A must have recipe for anyone looking to make their own natural cleaning products.
Toss aside your chemical filled all purpose cleaning spray (or your super expensive all natural brand) and test out my simple, cheap and super effective recipe. This is one of the show stoppers in our cleaning workshops because it is so easy to make, and so versatile! Baking soda is a great degreaser, Castile soap has excellent cleaning power, and tea tree is a natural, powerful disinfectant. Plus it takes less than a minute to make. Simple, natural, cheap, and effective. YES PLEASE!

1 tbsp baking soda
1 tsp Castile soap
4 drops tea tree essential oilView Details
1 ½ cups water
A funnel if you want to minimise the mess
Step 1 Use a funnel to pour the ingredients into an empty spray bottle. I also like adding 2-3 drops of lavender essential oil for a more relaxing aroma. Plus it adds some of its own antibacterial power.
Step 2 Shake it up and spray away! It's that easy.
Step 3 Remember to shake before each use so all that tea tree power is mixed up. Use your spray within 30 days because tap water has natural bacteria which will become a bit funky after 30 days. If you want to extend the life of this recipe, boil the water first and let it cool before adding it to your spray bottle.
Step 4 If you try out this recipe, please review it below. I would love to hear how you liked it.
